Merchandise: chinaknots, Inc. (SELLER) warrants that the merchandise offered for sale on this website is as described herein . SELLER additionally warrants that all items sold are free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ONE (1) YEAR from the date of purchase. Items that are found to have a defect in materials and/or workmanship within the warranty period will be repaired or replaced (at the option of SELLER) upon return, shipping charges prepaid, together with a Returned Goods Authorization (RGA) to SELLER's warranty service center. This warranty is limited to such repair or replacement and is BUYER's sole and exclusive remedy (including any and all so called implied warranties including "merchantability" and/or "fitness for any particular purpose" warranties which are specifically excluded) in the event of any claim. SELLER shall not be liable for consequential damages in any form and from whatever cause. BUYER is aware that the merchandise by its' very nature is delicate and fragile and therefore releases SELLER from any and all liability for damage during shipment or from any other cause not under SELLER's direct control. Service: All services performed by SELLER are covered by the above merchandise warranty policy. Certification Records are maintained physically and duplicated electronically. Electronic records are backed up periodically and redundant copies are stored at several locations as a security procedure for the benefit of BUYERS who purchase the Certificate of Authenticity service. Except as described above, SELLER shall have no liability in the event that the above described records are lost, corrupted, or destroyed due to any cause beyond SELLER's direct control including but not limited to fire, flood, natural disasters of any kind, civil unrest, acts of any governmental agency, acts of war, insolvency of or cessation of business or operations of any of SELLER's vendors, acts of God, acts of terrorism, computer viruses, worms, etc., and sudden failure of any mechanical and/or electronic system or device. Warranty Claim Procedure RGA: To receive an RGA, (click here) and complete a Warranty Service Request. You will receive an RGA and shipping instructions by return e-mail.. Upon receipt and inspection of the defective item at the warranty service center: 1.) If the problem is determined to have been caused by a defect in materials and/or workmanship, the item will be repaired, (or replaced), and the item will be returned to the BUYER, shipping prepaid by chinaknots, Inc., or 2.) In the case that the inspection determines that the problem was not the result of a defect in materials and/or workmanship, a repair estimate will be provided for the customer's approval. Upon approval, the item will be repaired, the BUYER's account debited for the agreed repair charge and the item will be shipped back to the BUYER shipping charges collect. (Two-way shipping of items repaired out of warranty is the responsibility of the customer.) |

Prior Sale Please be aware that the majority of ShuMing's creations are unique one-of-a-kind items and as such are subject to prior sale. In the event that a customer purchases a particular item that has been previously sold, ShuMing will select several items having similar design elements (SELLER further warrants that in the case of such alternative selections, each will have a retail value higher than the out-of-stock item) and offer these privately via e-mail. If the customer chooses to accept one of these alternative selections, it will be shipped at the price of the original item purchased. If the customer does not find any of the alternative selections acceptable, all monies will be refunded and the customer's account so credited. Not an Investment Although ShuMing's original creations are unique and therefore limited in number, there is no guarantee that any item will increase in value as a collector's item. All merchandise is sold for the personal enjoyment of the purchaser and not as an investment. |

FOB Point All sales are FOB shipping point, and title thereto including risk of loss or damage is transfered to BUYER upon delivery to and acceptance by the carrier. In the event of items returned for repair whether in or out of warranty, BUYER assumes all risks during shipment both ways. Insurance BUYERis are strongly urged to insure any and all shipments at the full retail value. At BUYER's request, SELLER shall purchase insurance for shipments originating with SELLER for BUYER's account, in which event, SELLER's liability shall end upon the transmission (electronically or otherwise) of a carrier's tracking number and/or receipt or other evidence of insurance to BUYER. In the event of a loss, SELLER shall assist BUYER in the pursuit of any claim by furnishing any requested ducumentation. Except for furnishing such documentation, SELLER shall have no further liability with respect to any insurance claim. |

Descriptions and Nomenclature It is our sincere desire to achieve your complete satisfaction with every transaction. To this end, we have attempted to provide as much information as practical so that you will be able to make an informed purchasing decision prior to completing the sale. We believe that the photographic images provided are true representations of the items in question, but cannot guarantee that these images will be faithfully rendered on the customer's monitor over which we have no control. Returns Return Policy Due to the nature of the merchandise involved, and to keep our prices commensurate with value, we do not accept returns except in the case that the wrong merchandise was shipped. As indicated above, we have attempted to provide accurate and complete descriptions wherever possible. However, to assist our clients to make an informed purchase decision, we will upon request attempt to furnish additional digital images by e-mail of in stock items with a retail value in excess of $50.00. SELLER reserves the right to modify the retail price threshold for this service and to modify, suspend, or discontinue this service without prior notice. In the event that the wrong merchandise was shipped due to SELLER's error, SELLER will correct the error at no cost to BUYER upon return of the merchandise that was shipped in error, together with an RGA. |

Out of Stock Merchandise: Should you purchase a specific item that is no longer available, ShuMing will select one or more items similar to your selection, and e-mail photographs for your approval prior to shipment. (Is is our policy that the alternative items have a retail price greater than the original item.) If you approve of the alternative selection, this will be shipped at the price of the originally selected out of stock item. In the event that you choose not to complete the purchase for any reason prior to shipment, the purchase price (including shipping and handling charges) will be cheerfully refunded. |
